Hello Hello

Welcome to Astray, a fansite for Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife. Cloud is my favourite character from any form of media and this is a site I have been wanting to make for a long time now but never had the time/nerve to do so. This site is a partly a fact vault, and partly a collection of my own personal thoughts and opinions on Cloud Strife. He's a character that, I feel, can be interpreted in many ways, and this site is just one possible interpretation. He's a complex multi-layered character, what can I say?

Since the Final Fantasy VII world has expanded into something of a mini-franchise, I would like to make a note of which installments of FFVII this site draws its information on: the original Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children, Last Order and Crisis Core. I've read parts of On The Way To A Smile but I have not played Dirge of Cerberus or Before Crisis (and probably never will -- just not into it).
